Gillian is the director and founder of SST. She attended Burke Mountain Academy and went on to race for the Ontario Provincial Team and Canadian Development Team. Gillian has her masters of Kinesiology in Coaching Science and under graduate degree in Early Childhood Education. She brings over 30 years of coaching experience to the team. She has coached in Ontario, Alberta and Washington state, at development and performance and elite levels. She was the head U14 coach for the Paskapoo Ski team in AB and at SPAC for 4 years before starting SST.  Gillian has her USSA level 300 coaching, Referee and TD certifications. She is also a level 3 Canadian Ski Coach and level 3 Canadian Ski Instructor. Gilly serves on the PNSA Board of Directors, Skykomish Parks Board and works as a substitute schoolteacher during the week. In her free time, Gilly likes to spend time outdoors with her children.


Ellie grew up racing for SPAC, then continued her racing career at The College of Idaho. She is a recent grad in Psychology and has coached intermittently at SST for the past four years. Ellie is currently studying for the MCAT and volunteers for the Skykomish Fire Department. When she's not on the slopes or saving lives, Ellie enjoys traveling. 


Briella grew up ski racing with SPAC and is now a graduating senior at Mukilteo High School. Bri has transitioned into a coaching role over the past 2 years, sharing her passion for Steven's Pass and skiing with our youngest athletes.


Sean grew up racing on the Mammoth Mountain Ski Team in California.  After completing his degree in Mechanical Engineering at University of Utah, he moved to the Pacific Northwest and has worked as a Control Systems Engineer in Seattle for the past 10 years.  He now owns his own Engineering company and is coming back for his second season coaching SST.


Alexis grew up racing for SPAC, she went on to swim/ski at the College of Idaho and graduated with a degree in health and human performance. She is now working at a program for children with disabilities and plans to pursue a career in occupational therapy. Lexi has coached with SST for a number of years and when not on the slopes, she enjoys many other outdoor activities and traveling. 


Patrick began his ski racing career at Northstar California and then skied for Lake Tahoe Racing and Bridger Ski Team in Montana. He went on to coach at Bridger, Big Sky, and Northstar. In 2018 Patrick relocated to the Seattle area after graduating from Montana State University. He works as a business analyst and spends his spare time fishing and riding his bike.


Tim's dad pulled his skis across the snow at Sugarloaf in Maine before he could walk. Decades later, he got to do the same for his daughter, Esther. In between, he raced at Sugarloaf and for MIT, eventually getting USCSA 1st Team All-American in 2008. These days, Tim is a Mechanical Engineer at Microsoft and a leader in his Seattle church, sneaking off to ski on Saturdays and instill a love for the sport in the next generation.


Born and raised in Russia, started skiing at 2 y.o. Skied and raced on Nordic skis, graduated from Far Easters State University, degree in physical education and sports science. Fell in love with Alpine skiing after moving to United States and been instructing, coaching and improving his own skiing with Outdoors for All, SPAC, Olympic Freeride Team and SST for last 20 years.
