Coaching Staff

We have a knowledgeable coaching staff eager to share their passion for alpine racing with athletes.

Our coaches are US Ski & Snowboard trained and have both racing and coaching experience.


SST is focused on making ski race training fun and affordable for athletes of all age-levels. Tuition covers coaching fees, insurance, equipment and training space.


We are an enhancement program

for athletes looking to add

alpine training to their schedule. 

Our season includes focused mid- week winter season race training at Snoqualmie Pass in

January and February.



The vision of the Skykomish Ski Team (SST) is to provide a structured and managed program for young, competitive racers to develop the skills and habits that will engender future success in alpine racing, ski cross (SX) and in life. We teach life skills of mindful, determined, diligent, and passionate learning through sport for success in the challenges of competition and life.


We have built a culture that strives for excellence focused on respect for each other, the mountain, our competitors and oneself. SST fosters the ethos by which to train and to live, over immediate outcomes.

The fundamental elements of skiing are essential for life-long enjoyment of the sport. SST will provide each athlete with the necessary building blocks to fulfill his/her potential in the sport of alpine racing, and maintain a lifelong involvement in alpine skiing and competition. Expertise is developed through quality and quantity of practice; we are dedicated to helping each individual reach their potential as alpine racers and/or SX racers without leaving home and the community.

Families are the core strength of the team. Individual progress and achievement will be supported by a strong family community. The family “team” will develop and sustain a collective will, and embrace hard work, discipline and a determined focus among all team members.
